@Jason Fraser Given that winter here can start as early as October (though infrequent) and stays until April, we have little choice but to carry out renovations in the winter. ;-) Naturally we avoid outside work in the winter as it if far more expensive {heated building surrounds} and uncomfortable to carry out.

We're looking to put together a YouTube video interview with a fun, knowledgeable Attorney for an upcoming video on the BiggerPockets YouTube page about multifamily syndication. 

While working two jobs brings me a pretty crazy income compared to the average Columbian, you can imagine it sucks up a lot of my free time; and frankly, I've really always dreamed of being my own boss and retiring early to do something fun like fixing up junky houses.

You also have to time this out so you are not selling in the middle of winter.

This winter we plan on going to Hawaii... or somewhere else. 

Some of the stuff I’ve learned involved staging the house, such as proper lighting, opening blinds, making the most of various amenities the house has which in my case was having the gas fireplace lit, the backyard waterfall running, positioning furniture to make the rooms appear more spacious, occasional spritz of air fresheners, and in the winter time a nice apple pie candle lit in the kitchen.

We grew up traveling to Tahoe for amazing summers and winters.

I truly look forward to the ability to scale my own business, develop solutions to problems that come along the way, and have fun working with people with similar goals and mindsets.
