I hit the add to cart button & ship everything to my handyman or cleaners.I send my handyman and/or cleaners images of the renderings & tell them “I ordered you a bunch of stuff - make the room look like this please & send me some updated pics when its complete”This is how I get around my lack of design skills without overpaying.The nice thing about this too is the large margin for error when the prices are this low.

We are trying to make updates while they are still occupying the units.  

Otherwise I would personally take the opportunity to update the appliances for them but tell them the rent is going to be adjusted as well. 

Most of the updates are cosmetic throughout, but the house has an old boiler /radiator system for heating (no ductwork is installed).

Added new floors, updated TV - flat screen on wall.

A lot of our areas used to be R5, but were changed to R4 or R4b and they won't update.

Looking to remodel a kitchen and maybe update to Central AC.
