Most get bid up too close to full retail to be worth the risk but every week I see one or two properties go at a bargain. 

So if you make one connection to a private money lender and they do ONE deal, it is worth it.

Assume you can increase the income to $100,000 and expenses will be $20,000.Is this even worth looking at? 

This house as is is worth about $340,000 I would be purchasing it from him for about $320,000 with a $30,000 down payment. 

They are not judge jury and executioner- Sell yourself to them and their will know your worth.  

So yeah, absolutely worth it.

If you've already got a couple properties then definitely worth getting started on that, but not usually a priority for your first steps.

Besides Furnished Finder, what are the other websites worth posting on for mid-term rentals?

I used Breezeway but it bugged a lot so I switched to Turno and it's all smooth sailing from now on.I agree with the earlier post stating there's a learning curve to all software but it's worth it.
