Is it worth renting after two years

I recently rented my house to move in with my elderly mother. Renting added income to retire. After two years I understand for tax purposes I sell it as a rental. Is it worth keeping and renting or should I just sell now. Mortgage is paid and I’m 67. How much will taxes increase if I keep renting
