Three days after mailing the letter, I got a text first thing today from one of the apartment owners who wants to meet on Saturday.

Due to  the market being a little tighter for quite some time now, I have not been able to find a good deal until today.

I offered on a seller's house two days ago and she called me back today stating that someone else has another offer for a lot more.

not yet today is my first day.  

I currently work full time, have ok credit (working on my score day to day), and saving about 10%-20% of my pay.

I had a plumber come out to take a look, and he said most likely the valve at the bottom of the well needs replaced, and since the well pipes are galvanized steel pipes, they would need to be replaced after pulling them up.I found a well drilling company willing to pull up the pipes (not as easy as you would think to find someone) and replace the valve, which is supposed to happen today.
