If the seller wants the offer deadline extended, would I counter it with an addendum?

Buyer will need to qualify for a mortgage to pay you off, which they probably won't because they won't take the necessary steps to clean up their credit.LEASE WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE: basically glorified lease with an option contract that stipulates terms to purchase by a future deadline at an agreed upon price.

@Theresa Harris  We realize this has to be the first debt before we seriously considered any investment,  The payments are doable it has been a bit too tight.

Once done - we will be able to order the Appraisal.Our pool contractor is making false promises about deadlines and work being done.

We had to close escrow ON BOTH PROPERTIES AS ONE UNIT (clearly two condos fully self contained) - Price 4.3 Million  to meet our deadline before the "condo split" happened. 

I don't want to compound their problems.We have had other folks cancel inside the deadline.
