@Demetrius Potts especially if you have limited funds it's important to buy a property that meets minimum quality levels and does not require extensive capex.

The quality of unit and level of service you provide will dictate both the quality of visitor you attract and premium you can collect. 

@Daniel Joseph - Personally I have properties in the Parma & but I keep looking in parma, parma heights, North Royalton, Rocky River, & Medina areas for opportunities, all of these suburbs have good schools, reasonable crime rates, realistic pricing & are desirable for quality tenants.  

They are putting a lot of money down, and they are buying quality.

This leaves us leaning more on subsidized housing programs and lower quality tenants, which costs a lot more money ongoing! 

Depending on where you plan on buying and the quality of rental/tenant, I can possibly suggest two great property managers that I am working with.  

We weren't rich but our quality of life wasn't really impacted when I stopped working.

I have a couple contractor referrals from my agent but BP has been great for finding quality people in the business.At this point, I'm looking to talk with contractors in the area to get a feel for experience etc.  

Given the choice between the two, I find that higher quality tenants are more attracted to laminate than to carpet.
