If you were to hire one employee, I would go with bookkeeper that handles books and office as you mentioned, she/he should be under you if you run the office, I would look for a minimum experience of QB construction bookkeeping through class codes, RE acquisition data mining, and electronic/paper filing.

They have histories and track records and lots of data for you to be able to learn from.

@Michael Thompson Just googled Marion County GIS, and you're right that it's not very user friendly but it's great to know where to get official data.

Not because I am one, but because they have access to all sorts of market trending data, and can also make you aware of deals in your local market.There are a number of indicators that they will track that can immediately show changes.Good luck...
