Not sure about that.One thing you could do is work with a general contractor and other pros (roofers, plumbers, flooring guys, etc.) to offer their services to people whose houses need major repairs, since you will be seeing a lot of that.I have vendors that pay me when I refer them to homeowner.  

Then you can also ask to pay for the ALTA Homeowners policy to get extra coverage as well above what the seller will pay for.  

I also believe there are a lot of good contractors that get a bad wrap because the homeowners and/or project managers were not clear with there project scope.  

With more and more homeowners being victimized, and the finding out their house is not sold, it is no surprise to see the rise in unlicensed brokering complaints.

For example, if I put a property under contract with the homeowner for $40K and then I assign the contract to another investor for $50K, what gets recorded in the public records as the sale price, $40K or $50K?

If this is a HUD proprety, they have an interest in favoring homeowners over investors, all else being equal.

If a break-in occurs, and the homeowner got video that is relevant, the Fremont Police will actually post snap-shots on their Nixle emails, to give the public a chance to help with IDs.
