John Chapman requirements by fire department are killing me- help

Even if you have a hydrant put in next to your property if it does not meet their standards you will have to sprinkle.When we build subdivisions we must prove 1500 GPM fire flow  this is pretty much UBC standards.. one development I did I had to bring a 10 inch main almost a mile across town to tie into our system to create the fire flow other wise we could not build the sub..

Assume for a moment you have a local team able to handle 100+ homes a year and have a few hundred homes under your belt.I have 20 days to find a cost effective solution......I'm thinking I should partner as these assets are spread amongst 26 states with about half in the SE of the country (where I have ample experience and resources).

Lucky for me I am selling that house and they are moving in 30 days, the extra people are gone though because we told them we would give back half of all their late fees if they cooperated with all of our requests during the sale.

Since the agreement is contingent upon court approval, I dont know if I have a leg to stand on now that the other side is fighting it.And yes, I did cut down my buyer's list to about half of what it was to get rid of the tire kickers and troublemakers.

We usually collect a deposit to cover special order items and permits (usually 10%) before the project starts then 30% upon inception, 30% upon half complete and balance when totally completed.
