As far as the comps, Bill says no, but in the forum, others have recommended it.

DSCR loans are based off of down payment, credit score and either actual or market rents so it helps to supercharge an investor's real estate goals and net worth.

I got laid off for about two months and everything fell behind (except our mortgage, we've never missed a payment always on time) but our credit scores are horrible.

That was that, probably a mistake, but it worked out so far in the sense of having the home rented and a good paying tenant.
