Does anyone have any thoughts on buying in the Applecross Development/Subdivision in Cary (off SW Cary Parkway, at Applecross Drive)? 

Right, it's agricultural/farmland zoning so it can't be developed.

I’m in the beginning stages of changing the layout of the park to allow for the addition of 5-10 more pads, my only issue is that I have a very long term tenant (31yrs) with a TOH that was place on a pad in such a way that prevents development of the additional pads.

So, how do you do serious, in-person market research and familiarity development if constrained by a demanding full-time job?

I started working for a real estate developer in the area for free and ended up learning things that led to some great deals and opportunities.

I also like to read books on psychology, personal development, and books on business.

Also, even if you do pay for the work out of pocket immediately, depending on the length of the project many investors/developers want their money back to invest back into another part of their business such as lining up the next project.Lastly, getting your draws should not be too difficult.
