Investors generally have many rights with how things are set up and having one investor have too much clout in a deal abdicates the authority of the sponsor, which arguably is not in alignment with the interests of the other investors who are entrusting this individual with their hard-earned investment dollars.

Newbie here wondering if my STR ( located in the Philippines) earnings will be taxed in the US?

I tend to buy in the Southern half of the US for 2 reasons:1) you get much higher year-round occupancy rates in the South & it’s simply tough to earn a good ROI in the North if your place sits vacant for a big chunk of the year2) Culturally, the Southern half of the US seems to be a lot more accepting of STRs regulation-wise.

I’m halfway through my law enforcement career and I’ve noticed a lot of the guys coming back to work in the schools or grabbing part time jobs.

Now I am of the mindset that a penny saved is a penny earned .  2 hours of my time playing in the mud to get the water leak solved was actually both a time and money saver  

At the same time, agents work to earn commissions, it's not a game, so don't waste their time chasing rainbows.

I am moving to a new location and want to start my investing career into real estate.
