The good news is that prepaid interest is tax deductible so it's a deduction you get to take advantage of at the end of the year.

I guess the good news is that even if you are wrong and ultimately have to go BK, so long as you learn from your experience and don't give up you will still succeed ... some of the best investors I know have gone BK before in a downturn, and they are so great partially because of what they learned from that experience, but me I'd rather learn second hand from their experiences and never have to go through it myself, even if it means growing my portfolio at a more modest pace in the short term.

Since 1986, I would bet that you have seen probably a dozen of these outfits in the news as being under investigation for fraud.
