In Georgia, a seller who owns his property free and clear maybe has to sign a half dozen pieces of paper and then sit around for an extra hour or more while the buyer signs the dozens of legal documents.On the other hand, signing in advance of your buyer also means that you have to make a return trip to the closing atty's office to pick up a check, or wait a couple days for a direct deposit.
