As others have mentioned, your relatives could fax or email your statement to you, witch would involve a little effort on their part, but would still work.The reason the banks wants to see the proof right now is so they know that you have the money in the bank, witch means you are able to go to closing.

Everyone we know who owns a condo (none of them live in our complex) is so busy with their career/investments/problems they see their association as crap they don't want to think about, I pay my dues leave me alone.We have a few neighbors on the board, and that is good.
