The idea is to find motivated sellers and help them through the selling process either off-market (wholesaling/investor purchase) or on-market (hands-on coordination, cosmetic prep, referral to real estate agent).

Would anything happen if I just collected the money to pay the mortgage with no real book keeping?

need massive power close to said land.. also keep in mind they employ very few people so its not a long term thing for employment

My guess would be that brokers in this market do not regard you as a real “player”.  

Some people will list their property as 'coming soon' on some of the local MTR specific pages or pages like Travel Nurse Gypsy Housing.
