I know there are a lot of rules a SDIRA needs to follow to fully take advantage of the tax benefits and make sure you are in compliance. 

It's always been their word against ours and they always swear they locked them back up only for us to find them missing for the next renter the following weekend.

You have a portfolio with them, and I assume you have shown a consistent ability to close and follow through. 

I have been following BP for a while now as a free member and have just upgraded to PRO; this is my first post here on BP.  

You'll find out how they "should" be handled by the board and then you can hold them accountable for following said rules or be in legal jeopardy for not following their own bylaws.

Now if you have a dollar cost averaging style, flipping/ turn around model, trend following, momentum, or any of a countless number of other philosophies you may not have the same feelings about cash and that's fine.
