Attorneys spend an entire semester in law school for the class. 

I need to start looking in AZ since its in my own backyard. don't confuse garden variety rentals and those tenant landlord laws.. with MHP tenant laws they are not the same. 

Just looking to bounce ideas with some experienced folks on here.My law firm has been expanding and has outgrown our current space.

You also need to understand landlord-tenant law better than your tenants.Understand tenant mentality.  

Typically, you would assign the contract to the buyer, the Buyer pays your assignment fee but your fee won’t be factored into the sales price for his financing.....possible issue with licensing laws depending on your state laws on how you market it.   

The law suit option came with the possibility of a counter-suit.

BTW, on a side note, people often pronounce my last name like your's is spelled and since my sister-in-law is Linda, I had to do a double take on this post. :) 

By law, you are required to send a security deposit return letter to their forwarding address (hopefully you have it).

(I'm in NJ, I can't find any laws on changing locks on abandoned apts, only laws on abandoned property)

What matters more than what the law says is what the courts has already said about the law.
