One of my tenants needed some rental assistance this month so he applied to Utah Community Action for one month of help.  

My question is, how would it work to use private money to assist with a large down payment and repairs costs, while using it for an owner-occupied home?

PLEASE reach out if you are using a VA that has been good for your business I would like to pick your brain and see how I can use a VA successfully as well.

I dont have personal experience with either, but I have tried to protect myself from both.My application has a spot on it where they are required to list an emergency contact person who can assist in their move-out if they become deceased, hospitalized (long-term), or incarcerated.  

This will be in the DFW/Dallas area so if anyone knows of a good agent/realtor/resource in the area to assist with the contract, I'd greatly appreciate any referrals.Thanks for your time!

I have been reading that becoming an unlicensed RE assistant allows you to use the agents MLS.

Hopefully the seller will assist in making this process easy for the tenants.
