If they do, why not hang on to 'em for while?

Lots of solid people hanging out here that invest in syracuse.

I have talked to Frank and Brandon extensively both guys are awesome, but wanted to go to one boot to actually hang out with them.

If you did discriminate, hang on because they will most likely nail you to the wall.I have been through this and HUD went so far as to have "secret shoppers" call and look at my rental units.

My justification for getting in now, which is clearly not ahead of any trend, is that even if the VR thing falls through, I have an awesome place to hang out at in the desert on the weekends.

At the very least having taken that course probably helps you be higher than the 0.00001% that most agents (many of whom like to ignore me telling them to stop hanging their hats on price per square foot) have, and at most it probably equips you to write better offers. 

Hang in there, you'll do great.

Hanging in to it for a couple of years still allows you to pull your money out via the refi, collect some cash flow and possibly realize some appreciation.
