If your parents had a scarcity mindset and mostly consumers then the mental leap is far greater for the children when they become adults .

Personally, I would rather expand my mental database than rely on that of someone else.

Having to add a commercial kitchen to your bar can throw off your numbers as well, especially if you are on the hook for running a Type 1 hood duct through 10 stories of apartment space or installing a grease intercepter in an existing space.Lastly, make sure that any other building, health department, zoning, and accessibility requirements are taken into account before picking a property.

Apparently, the tenant’s mentally ill son (who had been staying at the house illegally) trespassed into another neighbor’s property and they beat him up.

Sounds like entitled consumer mentality to me.  

Its crappy food, not good for your health but you can get in and out quickly and spend about 10bucks.

Mold was way overblown as a health hazard for a while there.

No money and poor credit just requires some more creative thinking and a willingness to add some mental and physical sweat equity.
