I'm in the same boat as you.

At this point in his life he does not need to buy.But he does want to have an upscale property to rent.He is also a public figure that does a lot of travel. how do you know he does not need to buy sounds like he certainly needs to buy that way he would not now be facing a 400.00 a month increase to pay for shelter.. all these folks that rented through the super low interest rates  if they had half way decent credit and incomes that did not buy sure missed the boat all this talk of renting is better blah blah blah.. its just throwing money down the toilet paying off someone else's home and nothing to show for it at the end of the day.. then being subject to the whims of the landlord  LOL..

i am in the same boat, but it's #8 and cost was 69k. my rents are around 1100 and i dont make any money if the PP is 100k or above.

Possibly boats, or different items people finance.

Rubab, I'm in Houston and it sounds like we're in similar boats.

The house I am looking at is an a gated community on the lakefront (non motorized boats), 20 minutes from every major attraction and the Delaware water gap.

If so charge a fee to enter the hunting preserve.Plant trees along the shores and down some in the water to make fish hiding spots for anglers.Sponsor drag-boat races once a month.Rental pedal boats, call it courtship lake and have a wedding venue for rent with a view of the lake.Sell it to the YMCA to use as a summer swimming camp.If you own the land adjacent, build on that.Easier fish to fry than this project.Just my 2 cents...
