I am asking the property management for proof of verification of income and occupation as I do not want to go through an eviction or have anyone in the property that can not afford the rent.

I don't believe a LLC is needed starting out, I do believe the majority of investors have one only because they were told they need one without any actual proof to support the need.

If you still want to do ceramic tile, you may try planing and sanding subfloor as level as possible, screwing the subfloor to the joists, then thinset and screw down 1/2" cement board, then water proof membrane, then tile.

Financial Institutions may ask for proof of this.

They will want to see proof that the problem was resolved.Also, if you are responsible for paying the water on your multi-unit, you should be receiving the bill which will show the water usage.
