I personally spent 2 years bringing this cabin from 1970 to 2023 remodeling the entire property.

I'm sure you've learned a lot already and will learn even more from this first deal. 

Mentors for me have come in the form of friendships over time, but honestly, most of them were made at an IN-PERSON MEETUP....there is something about physical energy that makes a huge difference.Happy to connect to share some of my experiences!

Personally, I would pass.

House hacking will also give you some personal "property management" experience.

As I have mentioned about 100x EVERYONE should stay off the internet, and just connect and learn from those actually doing it.

DIY managing is usually best, so you learn enough to avoid getting taken advantage of if/when you hire a PMC in the future.Your challenge is learning enough to avoid lawsuits and costly mistakes!
