First time homeowner here (since 2020)…I really want to move out of my current home because it is too large for me and my two dogs and I hate cleaning so much space (refuse to pay someone to do it haha)it’s a 3BR/2.5BA, two stories, 2565 sq ft on a 7000 lot with a huge pool in the backyard.

@Priscilla Z.You did the right moves by having your Affidavit and Notice of Interest in Real Property recording on the deed and if there was a problem, the buyer's realtor would have told you, but you will have uneducated people say what you did was not up above board or broker a deal which is not true you had a security interested in the property, and you have a right to your fee to release your interest.

It still wouldn't be enough profit to do this full time without another job.I see lots of people online who have quit their full time job and are doing Real Estate Investing only, buying new cars, being able to travel and I am wondering if this is just their "online persona", it is because of the amount of properties they have that has given them this financial/work free freedom or I need to find somewhere else that would give me a larger return.Either way I am still moving forward on my journey :) I was just curious because that would be my dream goal to not have a 9-5 and my investments give me that freedom.
