At this point those are not my strongest skills which is one of the main reasons I joined BP.That being said, I am a Licensed Architect and we do a lot of residential remodeling throughout Chicagoland.

My question is what skills do you need to develop as a beginner real estate investor?

My picture taking skills suck but I will have someone take some and get them up!

I actually loved the loan so much that I left my job in Medical Sales to join a broker that specializes in them. 

Don’t take advice from someone who washed out of medical school, or who never even tried but knows a guy who knows a guy.After you insulate yourself from negative advice, then think about loading yourself up even more with positive energy.

They are highly skilled, trained and managed.

If you don't have the knowledge, skills, or experience with the asset class or type of transaction, your risk of loss is much higher.Try listening to the Private Lender Podcast.  

I feel as though there's always sometime to learn and improve on in the multifamily space - I feel my underwriting and analysis skills have definitely come a long way over the past 4 years of investing and sponsoring MF syndications.

Although, there are skilled carpenters that could know how to handle all of this.

They called crying the other day due to the stress and were asking to allow them to at least stay until end of June.I want to give them a bit of grace knowing that these two situations are legitimate (and they've been good at rent in the past), but I can't afford to keep them in there in anticipation that this does not get any better (medical bills won't just go away).
