My opinion is that tax assessor data is completely useless for establishing property value.

Their data is woefully out of date and useless. 0-2 is enough for me.

Cash out refinance when I have too many mortgages
17 November 2014 | 9 replies
Hi BPers,I have recently tried to refinance one of my properties to get some cash out (property increased in value since I bought it a few years back).Problem is that since I already have 5 mortgages it seems that doing a cash-out is not easy and the best I could find is a 5/1 ARM with 8% interest. What are the possible ways to get cash out of a property in this situation?

Duplex Deal

@Kate Stallmann Not really enough data, but that's a very tight deal at best and it could turn quickly into a bad deal if there is any kind of deferred maintenance at all.

Indianapolis /Lawrence area? Investing

But most of the houses in a lot of Lawrence areas (at least where my property is located) are older cookie cutter homes, which just aren't going to go up in value much as there are ample supply of similar homes.

Is it possible to make some BP profile statistics easier to view and/or find?
14 October 2014 | 4 replies
It is always very satisfying to know that my 2 cents helped somebody or just made them smile.I try to reciprocate as much as I can by voting on posts that I find as helpful, informative, those that give me a chuckle and others that are just laugh out loud funny whenever I find them....whether I know the poster or not and whether they have ever voted for one of my posts or not.Having said that, it seems rather difficult to actually find the statistics on who voted for one of my posts in my profile data since I do not usually save the email notification.I have not found a way to find out who I voted for or what post or thread it was in unless I really spend some time trying to backtrack to find out that info.Is there a way to put these two bits of info at our fingertips within our profiles?
