I can't emphasize enough how awful a move that was in terms of landlord relations, but also how rare it was (to my knowledge, no other area has EVER done something as broad and sweeping to lower rents such as that move).

One observation: A contractor is capped by the market place on how much he can charge ( maybe 20-25%) and still win bids.

we do a lot on that site.. pretty straight forward put up your deposit to bidif you win.. it may or may not be accepted by the seller.. then you will put up EM and close like any other transaction.. unless your talking about sherrifs sales...
