I understand the thinking of the HOA, denying use of HOA assets if the fees aren't paid, but IMO, there is a collection line crossed by putting you or the property in danger and undue hardships in the collection of HOA fees.

If you try another service and have the same issue, just deny the application.

I could not confirm or deny if the home had aluminum wiring- it's 1960 construction date falls a bit before the typical mid 60's-late 70s dates for aluminum, so I suspect it does not but you can never be too careful.

A friend of hers told her to go to the bank and try to get funding to pay for rehab and pay off the contract however she has been denied by two banks so far and that was pretty discouraging.

It has Lender A in the contract but things did not work out well with himand I had approached another lender, who I was workning with, but my Loan got denied with Lender B.
