We've been told that people like the look of the steel windows and changing them would deter from the appeal, We've been told that going with a newer double pane window is what people want for energy efficiency.

New vs Older home - A new home has everything new, and are more energy efficient. 

The energy / vibe of the place has totally changed.Obviously, we'll use this as a negotiation tool, but we just wanted to see how this may affect us when looking for tenants.

Now I get it you have a buyers list it goes to private folks ( guys are trying to put me on them daily LOL) I don't have the time or energy to wade through the stuff so I can see that.. but its still a business set up to create income or compensation for bringing two parties together ..

I just built my 3300 sqft house for 125k  (Smart, Energy Efficient home)  and it appraised for 351K.  

Bullet proof.

It doesn't require a lot of time, but it does require a lot mental energy, especially when things are not going well and you have to explain to other people why not.
