Anyone currently investing in this area?

I’m looking to connect with others about investing in these areas, whether to provide support and hopefully guidance to avoid landmines or to learn and gain insight and share resources in order to gain strength though shared successes, challenges and ideas

I'm particularly interested in side-by-side 2/2 or similar duplexes.I'm also eager to connect with local agents, and fellow investors, and attend meetups to better understand different neighborhoods in Indy.

Are you mainly partnering with local municipalities and grant programs and then bringing in a lender? 

That's a fair compromise, and I've done this myself through my PMs as I never deal direct with tenant. 

I only have about 20K equity, but my home is only 1 years old, with 5.5%.
