BRRR which we invented not BP  LOL.. we already had this borrower underwritten at country wide or wells. so it was just a matter of a 442 and their cash out refi happened.. like I said though that was then and now is now..

@Christina MahesseThere's an old concept in tax called "risk of loss".I'm assuming this SFH/vacation house won't be rented out to simplify the explanation...Generally you would have to examine who is on the title and who is named on the loan.If it's one person, then generally speaking that one person can claim interest/taxes, etc to the extent allowed by statute.

But 08 hit and I got stuck with 450 loans on the books that could not refi because refi lenders Country wide Wells etc all pulled out of the market.. so I ended up foreclosing on about 200 LA investors and owing the homes.
