I do a lot of Condo Associations and I'm having more and more trouble with having companies having to cover such a big property amount in say an acres or 2 of land mass.2. have no idea3. not sure about regulatory barriers because there have been plans done through employers or associations where they'll give a specific discount, let's say 5% overall to the employees they can write but that being said those clients typically don't live right next to each other, have the same age/style/value of home and they still have underwriting guidelines they have to go through that can generate rate or every deny the coverage.That help at all?

You literally CAN'T sell for at least 3-5 years because you wouldn't have enough to pay the fees associated with selling a conventional way, nor would it have been worth it for you to do so.

If it went any higher the argument for renting would become even stronger.The opportunity cost of tying up all that cash, time & energy is almost never worth it.One of the only times it makes since to finance your primary residence is when you know you are buying a property substantially under market, and reselling it.

If you aren't able to settle, then press forward with the complaint and maybe you can get their business shut down before they do this to others.As for suing, you'll have to discuss that with an attorney and see if it is worth the effort.
