Based on everything I have read and heard, it seems like I will love it, but still want to start cautiously.

We have a partially complete 4 bedroom new home build in Cape Coral and are considering changing contractors.

To finally use the knowledge I’ve been building up with the bigger pockets podcasts and various YouTube videos has got me pumped.

I plan on doing another flip to build some equity.

I will say though with this last renewal period some insurers are actually starting to lower their premiums… a little, after the Florida legislature made policy changes that favored the insurance companies… so that is at least a small step forward.  

Besides it being much slower start up to self-fund, why not use cash instead of financing to avoid the risk? 

Otherwise I start looking for another way to make money instead of through rental properties.

Buyer believes in "Get Rich Quick" ideas that pretend one can build wealth without first sustainably solving the "I spend less than I make" problem. 

Retirement accounts are illiquid (at least until you reach an age to start taking distributions.)

We've saved up enough at this point to perhaps start looking at purchasing our next property.
