And yes, it is common to have a leak originate in your unit, and flood out numerous floors below...I think my record is only six other units, but I have heard of even more extensive damage in local highrises.If you own a condo, you MUST replace washer hoses with no-burst stainless braided hoses, and not the cheap chinese ones either!

an attorney can explain title defects to you in much better and accurate detail but sometime peoples will have interest in the property from the numerous chain of past owners you likely have. sometimes those people are overlookes or the title was't recorded accurately or they never filed paperwork with the registry. dependong on the type of title your buying you could be liable for those damages and may have to pay off that interest.
