As a local we enjoy the tradewinds maybe once every year.

A common mistake I observe are investors focused on unit count rather than the fundamentals of the underlying real estate that's being bought.

I would suggest google voice because its free but getting a local number is difficult.

Simply put, they want someone local that is going to be responsible for the property.

I had never been to any auctions and never bought any real estate, yet prevailed at the auction, buying a 17 year old brick 3 bedroom house with hardwood floors, ceramic baths, and a brand new roof. 

Which as newbie to real estate investing and to Bigger Pockets just referred to them as In-Law suites.

My local credit union won't do it either, they also won't do a business LOC because the business is only 1.5 years old.
