However her boyfriend and her got into a fight 2 nights ago and weapons were involved and the dad was involved as well.

Hello, I am in the process of finalizing a deal in East Austin (Texas), that involves building a 30 unit luxury condo's and wanted to get local investor input who have built MFR (Apartments / Condo's / Duplex / Four-plexes) in that area [East Austin / Downtown or South Austin]. 

Now there are multiple people involved and always playing telephone.

My business partner/mentor has relationships with subcontractors that we have used on all of the projects we've been involved in.

Not saying he is wrong because he is involved with more "wow" factor rehabs because of the area he is investing.

The amount of work to list and sell a house in one of the hottest real estate markets in the country was pretty low.That said, there is a TON of work involved in selling a home - and having clients that were friends didn't really make it easier.Discounting by .5% doesn't seem like you're giving a huge discount - $2,500 on a $500,000 price.

Try to get involved with local groups and find a mentor. 

I'm mainly curious to get involved with multi-family properties (ideally one that I could live in) and need some advice on jumping in.
