I was under the impression that a CA resident with out of state properties and LLCs  did NOT need to actually register the LLC with the CA Secretary of State, but only need to pay an $800 tax on these LLCs. 

All you do is go to your BP dashboard and the top header has options such as Profile Options, Network then Blog.
