If the goal for real estate ownership for you is to get financially free and live a life by design then being super stressed and scraping by - living in fear of the next repair that is needed and how to make mortgage payments isn't a solid plan.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to hear newer investors especially backing out due to fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

But I'd like to hear what are some other setbacks when people first got started, ASIDE FROM FINANCES/CAPITAL Fear of the unknown, 

As I feared scheduling with this tenant is frustrating.

I have never built before and I can't find any zoning or ordinance things that would prevent this, but it feels like if I went and planned to just add on a unit or two that are attached (or even just next to) the existing house but that look quite different, this is the something that the city would have a problem with.I am not really sure how all I would figure out if these fears are legitimate.

The fear and confusion is making some people pull all their money out and put it into the larger banks.

My fear is that I sit on an empty building and bleed cash for several years.

Got into them both well, so I'm in no fear of losing money and got them both off the MLS.

The fears of the economy, increased rates and the fact that these buyers are seeing buying multi-family at a cap rate under 5% is not a sound investment should help make for more of a sustainable market.
