Sam - if you join meetup.com and checkout the BWI group, you might want to go to their Monday Mixer event as it's basically a big happy hour with other investors.

They don't pull the trigger even if the property meets the investor's criteriaObviously the agent, you plan to hire, uses digital documents and signatures to save everyone time. 

These however tend to be cross pollinated with companies in different industries.The El Camp project I noted above and my concept is to be industry specific so we may have social events that networking events that can be mutually beneficial among the group.thanks for the feedback!

It makes my life as a newbie in real estate a lot easier ;-) Just as many of you, I have been getting more and more excited about real estate investing from hearing many BP podcasts, reading Brandon's book for a thousand times by now, visiting networking events, etc.

We certainly have seen significant appreciation in a lot of areas, and those days of massive double digit appreciation growth are behind us, especially considering the headwinds of rising interest rates going forward.  

Justin Prince I agree with Jay, definitely come out to some of the local networking events when you're in town.
