I worked at a bank for 3 years underwriting commercial real estate loans and have spent the past year in the real estate tax department of a major retailer.  

After months of negotiating with banks, attorneys, water departments, junior lienholders etc. it's a low return for time invested.Everyone in life wants to grow their business to bigger and better things as an investor or a broker/agent.Just so everyone is clear a REALTOR has nothing to do with state licensing ( maybe it does in some states that I am not aware of but I have not seen it ).

I left the building and safety department and they told me a lot.

The relative was living with my dear grandmother and I had a vacancy.

The fire department has blessed the extra rooms as bedrooms, so what were "2 bedroom units with 2 bonus rooms"  became "4 bedroom units".

I suspect the ball was dropped here somewhere, Go down to the building department and check it out from start to finish.

I called the county liaison who handles most of the county leases and who coordinates different departments with the real estate needs they may have.

His credit is good so no unforeseeable issues in that department and the home is VA eligible I am sure as very few problems exists with it.
