I dont see self storage as real estate per se its a business. that just happens to run out of a real estate location you own and operate not different than buying your own body shop or fitness center and owning the building..

@Brett Milde I've been going to Maggie Valley since I was a child, I love it there :)  Not sure how the vacation rental returns are, but it's a fabulously beautiful place that is dear to my heart!

The cost to do this was around $13,000 but they are so unique that I've never seen anything like them; very beautiful and huge conversation pieces.
