@Ryan Behnke I'm in New Jersey and here if you don't have that security deposit is an interest baring account, no matter what you go to court for you will lose.

Also I'm leaning more towards New Jersey since the prices out there seem more feasible. 

I've gotten great advice/support from @Jordan Sutherland (my Lubbock RE agent, who is also an investor himself), as well as @Joan Brown (who does flips and buy-in-holds in Lubbock), as well as @Corey Zant (who also invests/flips there).

@Robert Jordan - It sounds like it's overpriced to me. 

Last year, we sold off all of them in New York and New Jersey.
