We get maybe forty inquiries a year here in the forums asking if one state is more tenant-friendly than another, by people who hire a property manager and never ask about her/his relationships with the local law enforcement, experience with the local judicial authorities, knowledge of local rental property laws, etc.I don't think there's been a major legal shift at this point.

@Joseph Aceves I would say that it's a good deal if they're paying for it, as long as they take your approval for the new flooring type/design as well as give you authority to oversee the installation.
