How Is A Series LLC Used In Real Estate Investing?
20 June 2024 | 2 replies
.- Risk management ensures that problems with one property do not affect others.- Flexible transactions make it easier to sell, transfer, or refinance individual properties.Considerations- State variations mean that not all states recognize Series LLCs.- Management complexity necessitates careful documentation and legal compliance.- Lender familiarity issues arise as some lenders may not understand Series LLCs, thereby complicating financing.A Series LLC offers a streamlined, protective, and flexible way to manage multiple real estate investments. Thanks,

How to find home owner/squatter issue

If you seriously want to clean this up and are willing to take a risk, I would absolutely switch things into my name and begin taking care of the property as my own...it takes up to 10 years, but if you'd be willing to start caring for the property and were able to at least rent as a break even, pay taxes etc, then it's no big loss if the owner came back and stopped your claim.

I think this is smart to do, but you are making move for quality of life as well so make sure the town is a place you will enjoy (along with the new job) living.I've seen people use metrics to move out-of-state without really getting a feel for how much their lifestyle suits the new market.
