Our last rental had gas, and I considered converting (just) the stove to electric to add a layer of idiot-proofness to the house, but ultimately just left it.Still wondering if the $75 would have been a good investment...

Ultimately, the seller owns the property, so he decides who gets access and when...but, I imagine the seller wants to sell the property, so he should be reasonable in allowing the buyer or agents of the buyer access.
