From being around some travel forums I keep seeing that peoples paypals get shut down and money that was transferred in gets tied up until it is resolved.  

As new applications come in, at least do the initial scoring to see if any are stronger than the ones you are working.

In the scenario you described, you ended up with only $2500 of your own cash tied up in a cash flowing, $150k asset!

You could open the business account and tie it to Zelle.

Some are content with having their money tied up in a property with a low cap rate.
