If you follow the BP podcast or their social media they usually promote book sales every so often.

Just before Christmas I got a big promotion that came with a substantial raise.

Also, the link should not be promoting your company,services,products.

This way you keep getting a reasonable income return and mentally, do not feel the urge to jump on a mediocre deal. 

You do not need to rely on a promoter to introduce you to "opportunities".  

Discernment is critical, and in the context of this discussion we first have to understand that when we're talking about successful people's mentality, it's referring to those with money.

I also have a sign at our property that says 'Like Us on Facebook' now which is fun because people can share their photos and such and it creates it's own promotion cycle to their friends and family.  

If you are a broker and list a property on their site before you list it on loopnet, etc, they will promote it to users.
