Reasons for this were conflicts on what was really covered, additional costs or items not covered (replacing a furnace but supposedly additional $1,000 in work not covered), slow response and slower action, and a disagreement on what the right corrective action should be (an AC unit 25 years old where the warranty contractor was trying to clean and say was fine no other problems).

It's never too late, though...I figure in 10-20 years it will be a great read.I also have a rolling calendar reminder to re-read my yearly goals every month so I don't forget about them, and forget to take action (out of sight, out of mind).

My attorney and title company don't seem to understand this or don't like this or don't seem inspired to want to move forward with something like this (title company says we can't really insure this without an action to clear title), I think mostly because they seem unfamiliar with it.
